The Pythagorean theorem feature enables you to automatically calculate the distance between two points using indirect measurements. This is handy when it is impossible to position the meter directly opposite the desired point.

The device is powered by 2 AAA batteries one full charge of which is enough for 5 000 measurements. The device memory stores up to 20 data groups. Automatic shutdown of the laser after 30 seconds and the device after 180 seconds helps save battery power.
