Ermenrich NetGeeks NL80 Cable Length Tester

The Ermenrich NetGeeks NL80 Cable Length Tester can measure cable lengths up to 1,000 meters and also has other features. It can test cables for open circuits and short circuits as well as split, crossed, and reversed pairs. It can also measure the distance to open and short circuits. The Ermenrich NetGeeks NL80 can trace cables, detect a cable connected to the router or a switch among many others, perform PoE and PING tests, and save the results to a memory card.

The cable length tester supports various types of cables: STP/UTP (CAT5E, CAT6, CAT6A, CAT7) network cables, telephone cables, coaxial cables, and common wires. Its method of operation is based on the TDR technique (time-domain pulse reflectometry). The results are highly accurate, and there is an option to calibrate the device. The device is crosstalk-proof.

All the included devices are powered by rechargeable batteries. A transmitter can operate for about 20 hours on a single charge, a receiver – 50 hours. There is an auto-off function.
