Discovery Crafts DGL 50 Magnifying Glasses

Discovery Crafts DGL 50 is a binocular magnifier with flip-up lenses: you can remove just one or both lenses at once. This is convenient when you need to view an object both with and without magnification alternately. The magnifying glass has a short focal length and provides high magnification, so its main purpose is to conduct precise operations. This could be modeling, soldering, mechanism repair, evaluation of surface defects, jewelry assessment, etc.

Interchangeable lenses come in pairs – 4 sets of 2 lenses each. The optics material is polymer optical glass with a high degree of transparency. This is a very durable material, which is no less effective than standard glass in its quality, and its resistance to damage may even surpass it. The lenses are attached to the eyeglass frame; the temples may be replaced by a textile headband, if necessary.

There are LEDs next to each of the lenses. The illumination angle is adjustable, which results in the precise and convenient lighting of the work area. The illumination requires batteries to be installed.
