The Levenhuk New Blaze ED 80 is a high‑aperture spotting scope built around an 80mm objective lens with extra‑low dispersion (ED) glass. This premium optical system combined with a smooth 20x–60x zoom delivers exceptionally sharp high‑contrast images across the entire magnification range. Thanks to its excellent light‑gathering capability the spotting scope remains effective during dusk cloudy weather and overcast conditions. It is well-suited for hunting wildlife observation surveillance and introductory astronomy.

ED optics and variable‑magnification objective

The objective incorporates extra‑low dispersion glass lenses. The main advantage of ED glass is the elimination of the distortions and chromatic aberrations that are often seen in entry‑level models. The large 80mm objective gathers sufficient light to keep the image bright and clear even at maximum magnification. Fully multi-coated optics enhance image sharpness and brightness.

Precise focus and viewing comfort

For fast and precise focusing the scope features a dual‑stage system with separate coarse and fine adjustment controls.
