These binoculars are based on modern roof prisms that provide high light transmission. Levenhuk Vegas ED 8x32 are more compact and lightweight than similar binoculars by other brands. They feature all of the optical capabilities of professional optics. All of the optical elements are made of extra-low dispersion glass and protected with several layers of coating. Four-element eyepieces are imp ortant parts of the optical design of this model.
The body is made of shockproof plastic that protects the optics from accidental impact. The binoculars do not slip out of your hands, can withstand falling from a small height, and handle abrupt temperature changes well. The binoculars body is filled with nitrogen - a harmless colorless and odorless gas that prevents the lenses from fogging. Hermetic design provides a high waterproof level. You can drop these binoculars in the water up to 1.5 m deep for no longer than 3 min.
Despite their compact size, Levenhuk Vegas ED 8x32 are adaptable to a tripod. A standard 1/4" thread is covered with a tripod socket cover that does not disturb the hermetically sealed body.
