The Levenhuk LabZZ TK60 Telescope is a perfect gift for schoolchildren interested in astronomy. It is perfect for studying the Moon and terrestrial objects. All of the required accessories are included. To handle the telescope, you don’t need to have any special skills. The case is included. It holds your complete telescope setup, so it is convenient to transport and store the telescope with all of its accessories.
The telescope optical design is a classical achromatic refractor. Due to the telescope’s glass optics with an anti-reflective coating, it renders a good quality clear image. The objective lens diameter is 60 mm, so the main object for observation is the Moon. You can also observe more remote objects, but the details will be invisible.
The optical tube is installed on a fork azimuth mount. This is the basic mount for entry-level telescopes, but it is supplemented by a convenient microscrew on the vertical axis. This allows you to accurately and smoothly set a telescope on the selected object. The mount attaches to an aluminum tripod. You can place an accessory tray in the middle of it. The tripod height is adjustable.
The kit includes a wide range of optical accessories, so you do not need to buy them separately.
