The Levenhuk Blitz 80s PLUS telescope is a short-focus achromatic refractor with wide field of view that renders a picture in high resolution. Due to the high aperture, the telescope is suitable for astrophotography. You can observe outer space and the bright deep-sky objects, but the latter not in detail.
This short-focus refractor is very compact, so it is an excellent device for trips to the countryside. Moreover, outside of city light, it shows a sharper and clearer picture of the night sky. It can be used as a spotting scope for terrestrial observations.
The telescope is installed on an equatorial mount with manual control. This mount type is convenient for long observation. The slow-motion control knobs allow for precise and smooth tracking objects in the sky precisely and smoothly. The mount is fixed to an aluminum tripod. It is stable, adjustable, and there is an accessory tray in the center. Due to the standard focuser, the telescope can be fitted with any accessories with a barrel diameter of 31.75-millimeter (1.25-inch) (purchased separately).
