The adapter is designed for mounting digital cameras (eyepiece cameras) with a 23mm barrel diameter on microscopes with an eyepiece tube diameter of 30mm.

The adapter has no thread making camera mounting as simple as possible. The adapter replaces the eyepiece and then the camera gets mounted into it. After that you can immediately start taking pictures and videos.

The adapter is made of metal; it is colored black inside and out.
