Ermenrich EM20 Electromagnetic Field Detector

The device is practical for monitoring electromagnetic fields in production facilities near machines and generators as well as diagnosing workplaces for compliance with the health and safety regulations etc. The device measures electromagnetic fields with a minimal error of 1V/m or 0.01µT. The Ermenrich EM20 simultaneously measures electric and magnetic field parameters with a single button press. If the device displays no readings after a measurement the radiation intensity is outside the measurable range of the EMF meter. When a value is displayed on the screen one of the messages appears: “Safe” (safe radiation level) or “Harmful” (dangerous radiation level). To quickly alert users to readings exceeding the set threshold the device incorporates an audiovisual alarm that activates when 40V/m and 0.4 µT levels are exceeded.

With a fully charged battery the detector operates for at least 20 hours. There is also a low battery indicator. The sensor service life is 2–3 years depending on the intensity of use.
