Plan achromatic phase objectives form an image that has the same focus in the center and at the edges and  therefore  the distortion is negligible. Chromatic aberrations are corrected for blue and red  spherical aberration – for green  and the field curvature is corrected for 90% of the field of view diameter. The 10x objective is designed to work with specimens with or without a coverslip. The 20x  40x  and 100x objectives are used to observe specimens with a 0.17mm coverslip. The 100x objective supports oil immersion. The objectives are designed for the infinity-corrected tube length.
