Large detection
distance A powerful lens together with the 12μm professional thermal imaging sensor offer exclusive detection possibilities. A 1.8 meter high object can be detected in total darkness at a distance of 1300 meters.

12 µm thermal imaging sensor
The 12 µm thermal imaging sensor enables higher magnification and a longer observation distance. The very compact housing could also be constructed in this way.

Robust all-metal housing
The metal construction made of magnesium alloy ensures the device's dimensional stability and dielectric strength with low weight and extremely good ergonomics.

Video & photo function
The integrated recorder allows you to record a video sequence or a photo of a unique moment. A light press on the REC button starts the recording. The memory offers space for 16 GB of videos and photos.

StreamVision 2 compatible
The integrated Wi-Fi module ensures the connection of the thermal imaging device to smartphones or tablets running Android and iOS. The connection of smartphone and thermal imaging device gives the user unique opportunities to download video and photo files as well as firmware updates.

High Optical Magnification
Axion offers the highest magnification in the class of compact thermal imaging scopes. The optical magnification can be increased by digital zoom to effectively identify the observation objects.

Instant power on
Thanks to the innovative electronics, the device can start almost immediately. The quick start helps to save energy and extend the operating time. The Axion can be reactivated very quickly if necessary.

AMOLED micro
display The new AMOLED display ensures a clear, high-contrast and colorful viewing experience. Thanks to AMOLED technology, the image is displayed calmly and smoothly, even in the cold.

Absolutely waterproof
IPX7 water protection protects the Axion from heavy rain, snow or other precipitation. The device even withstands being submerged for 30 minutes and at a depth of 1 meter.

Light weight
Light weight becomes a particularly important parameter when it comes to long hikes, when every gram of gear counts and has to be carried on your back. The Axion weighs about 250 grams - no more than a normal rangefinder, but offers an exceptional number of functions.

Picture-in-Picture mode
The activated Picture-in-Picture function displays a small window with the zoomed part of the picture in the upper part of the screen.
