Levenhuk Ra R72 ED Doublet OTA is a convenient optical instrument. This telescope main purpose is astrophotography, but it is also well suited for space visual observation, including the planets of the solar system and a diversity of deep sky objects. It renders a contrasting image, enables observing even dim stars, and provides a good view. While this optical tube is quite compact and lightweight. This is an advantage on long journeys.

This Optical Tube Assembly (OTA) is an apochromatic refractor with extra-low dispersion optics. It suppresses chromatic aberrations, especially secondary and spherochromatism. The objective fully reveals all of the capabilities of the aperture, creates a picture in high resolution, and allows you to view the fine details of astronomical objects. The optical tube mechanics are precisely calibrated and work flawlessly, thereby allowing you to fully concentrate on observations. Due to the 2’‘ dual-speed Crayford focuser, you can adjust sharpness very smoothly.

The tube body is made of aluminum with a high-quality blackening. The quick-release thumbscrew allows for installing this OTA on most modern mounts. The kit includes a robust aluminum case for stage and transportation.

Please note: Mount, tripod, and optical accessories are not included.
